Garden Express have been selling the Greenwell Plant and Tree surrounds for over 4 years now. We have cataloged the product in it variety of colors and both sizes, with superb images, to great success. Both selling on their own merit in summer under the waterwise offer in our catalogue, and also again in our winter season alongside dormant fruit trees that we sell. It makes a great add on sale during this dormant time.
Further, the Greenwell has made a great selling exhibition at some of our retail shows, including the premier event of the Melbourne Flower & Garden Show. Consumers are easily convinced of the benefits of the greenwell, as a water saving tool, mulch retaining tool, and general grass and weed perimeter for trees and shrubs.
To top it all off, I have used greenwells at home for most of this period for new tree planting. I find it especially helpful with the establishment of new trees, and find myself re-using some from general garden beds for new plantings. The ones in the lawn tend to stay there as a defined edge for the mower, spraying and mulching.
