The City of Port Phillip Parks Services has been using the Greenwell Waterwell for the last two planting seasons.  We have found that it provides two distinct benefits.

  1. The survival rate of our immature street tree stock as a result of the waterwell has improved some 20% In terms of survival, and as a consequence has also provided us with a distinctive improvement in the condition of the trees
  2. The use of the waterwell contributes to “best practise” watering In terms of simply and clearly allowing the waterer to direct their time and our precious resource, water, straight to where it matters most, the root ball.
